According to the Merriam Webster Dictionary, adventure is defined as:
- an undertaking usually involving danger and unknown risks
- the encountering of risks
- an exciting or remarkable experience
Travel is an adventure that encompasses all of those things. It is both risk and reward, exciting and daunting. The more you travel, the better you get at it (in theory, at least)! You learn what sites to use to book, research and plan each trip. You learn likes and dislikes and find your style of travel, what suits you and especially what doesn’t. You learn to navigate your way through problems big and small, and how to roll with it when things go sideways.
But maybe you don’t know these things, maybe you are a beginner, maybe you are a nervous traveler, maybe you just hate it (hopefully not). If you are any of the above, we can help! The mission of this site is to help you to become a more confident adventurer, whatever the adventure and wherever you go.
